A-PLUS has been dedicatedly spreading awareness related to the plastic problem since 2018. We have had a wide reaching impact but still continue to strive forward to spread the word further.
GHS Chhauni Mohalla
Ludhiana, Punjab
Sensitised students of different classes about the evils of single use plastics. Showed them videos of plastic harming different land and marine animals and how it affects humans. Also told them what they can do and the changes they should implement in their daily lives.

Sensitised students of different classes about the evils of single use plastics. Discussed how not segregating waste leads to pollution and how to segregate waste at home and how to send it forward for processing.

Interviewed various shopkeepers about the plastic carry bags they offer. Spread awareness about what plastic bags are better to use (above 50 microns), where to send these bags for recycling and about possible alternatives. Also distributed homemade bags made from old newspapers.
